Thanks Grandpa!

I am thankful for my Grandpa!!
When my mom was about 6 years old, her family was living in Vietnam (during the Vietnam War). My grandpa asked who wanted to escape to Canada on a boat. Many of them answered “no! Are you crazy?”. My mom, grandma, two uncles and aunt chose to escape with my grandpa. They had to endure 3 whole weeks on a boat without being spotted by the American helicopters in the sky. My grandpa stayed awake the whole time, 504 hours, driving the boat. They arrived in Edmonton, then moved to Montréal. My father was already in Montréal during the Vietnam War , by the way. There, my mom met my father in Montréal, and they got married
Thanks, grandpa, or else I could’ve been dead right now!

About Me !! :
I’m born on February 10, 1999, which makes an Aquarius. My parents named me Tiger after the Chinese Tiger Month, which was February. I am an artist; that means I draw, dance, sing, and play music. I am an anime artist who is SELF TAUGHT. I also self taught myself to dance and sing. I learned to play the piano for 3 years and practiced for 3 other years, and I learned to play the Guitar for about 6 weeks (hehe!). I am born in Montréal, which makes me part Québécoise.

Snow Day!

.:TIGER:. .:BLOG POST:. .:12/06/2010:.
As I was about to go to bed last night, I checked my windows. The snow was falling incredibly hard! I quickly swiped my iPhone and went to the ‘Weather’ App. It said it was going to snow all the way to Friday! I then decided to choose my clothing for Monday at school. I predicted it would be a snow day. I woke up this morning, and to my surprise, the snow was about a 1.5 foot high and it looked like there’ll be a snow squall. I turned on the TV and tuned to the Weather Network. A snow squall warning had been issued. Then I got a text from Vladimir saying school was cancelled! I also got a message via MSN from Jacob Miller saying school was cancelled. I had to check for sure; so I opened up my Mac Book Air and went to the TVDSB website. SCHOOL WAS INDEED CANCELLED! I was ecstatic, but also sad because I already would be absent on Friday to go to A Toronto Wedding.
I predict that tomorrow will also be a snow day, but I am not completely sure.
Merci!
